MAMALIA: growth in new spaces

What a weekend! Sonic Fold had the opportunity to host a live episode of The Fold Podcast on ISO Radio - a fantastic Toronto-based community-driven radio platform - during their International Women’s Day takeover jam. I was absolutely humbled to be in the company of likeminds and immensely talented DJs, journalists, public figures, and artists from Toronto, as we celebrated womxn around the world through an array of sounds and insightful discussion.

I had a solid catch-up with my friend and artist, Mamalia. We discussed cultivating community through trying new things, and what elements of support womxn and non-binary people need to pursue their craft - especially when it comes to foreign spaces.
